Looking for Junior size dresses for your growing tween? We have a couple of dresses for you to choose from.
Since my daughter’s High Honor Roll ceremony is next month, I have spent a couple of days looking for dresses online for her to wear. I searched online for dresses since I have no patience for shopping in stores or going to the malls plus the options are so limited. Thankfully, I was able to find a couple of dresses in Junior sizes that are age appropriate for my ll year old and I will share them with you.
I found really affordable dresses and some not so much, in different colors and styles so you can have several to choose from. I cropped out the model so you are able to appreciate the dress and not be put off seeing an older girl.
I looked and a lot of stores and these were the only ones that I liked that were more conservative, pretty and not child like, in my opinion of course.
Let’s start with a dresses from Bloomingdale. They are a bit more pricey but sometimes I am willing to pay based o the occasion and if I get tired of looking. So here we have these:
Dress from Zappos
Dresses from Boscovs
My daughter chose the blue dress above. I will receive the dress this week so I will be updating this post to review the dress.
Be aware that even though the dresses seem short, they are modeled by older girls. The length of all the dresses shown here measure between 32 – 34 inches shoulder to hem. For my daughter the length reaches her knees.
Until next time.
So update, the dress my daughter chose had a longer torso, the chest was too wide and the waist was a bit tight. My mother fixed it up for her, but I didn’t like it that much, as you can see below.
The next time I buy a dress for my daughter, I am going with an A-Line dress until she grows a bit more and then she can fit into junior dresses.
There you have it, it is still going to be a challenge to buy dresses for my daughter, ughhh.
